My experience with Seize Your Future has been a great learning opportunity for me. I learned a lot about planning ahead and the importance of having a plan of action. I also learned about focusing and developing my ideas, leading others where I want to go, and prioritizing, among other things. This past year, I chose to work on two leadership behaviours in particular: delegation and asking for feedback. Although I improved in asking for feedback, I still have a lot of trouble with delegation. In the future, I hope to work on the second aspect involved in feedback, which is giving feedback, as well as delegation. There is always room for improvement and I am constantly developing my leadership. I plan to continue taking part in Seize Your Future in TAM2 next year, as well as other leadership programs, conferences and seminars, so that I can keep working on my leadership.

One of the important things the seminar taught me was to never throw in the towel, even when the going becomes too tough. A true and strong leader never shuns difficult responsibilities. Thanks to the inspirational and educational seminars, my club was a success.

Young people have a potential to fulfill ideals and many times all they lack is the combination of role models and the awakening in them of the assertiveness that they can be a source of upswinging transformations. And this program has given them just that.

My daughter Tarika thoroughly enjoyed and also greatly benefited from the leadership program. Always a team player, she particularly improved both her communication and personal organisational skills. This helped her gain the confidence a leader needs, to stand her ground, especially in the face of opposition. She continues to grow "in wisdom and grace".
